The Theodora Anavhe Adamu Foundation (TAAF) works at the intersection of maternal health and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), strengthening how communities, systems, and decision-makers respond to the needs of women and girls.
Why We Exist
A woman should not die because care was too far, too late, or not good enough.
TAAF was founded after a preventable maternal death, an experience that exposed the real gaps in the system: delays in care, weak referral pathways, poor documentation, and limited accountability.
Today, we work to close those gaps, so women are not lost between communities and health facilities, and systems respond when it matters most.
